The fellowship focuses on research related to the digitalization of finance, with particular emphasis on blockchains, tokenization, and decentralized finance. The successful candidate will benefit from the expertise developed by our research team over the past five years and will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with researchers in economics and computer science who have a well-established track record in digital finance.

The postdoctoral fellow is expected to work closely and actively with all members of the Center. We foster a dedicated and highly interactive research community, with expectations of both collaborative work in small groups and independent research projects.

The primary selection criterion is research excellence in digital finance, along with a clear interest in contributing to the Center’s research agenda. Candidates must have a strong academic background in the field, demonstrated by a PhD in Economics or Finance.

The Blockchain@X Research Center is part of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. Successful candidates will also be affiliated with CREST (https://crest.science/), a leading research center comprising approximately 50 economists, as well as scholars in statistics, quantitative sociology, and finance, offering a rich and stimulating interdisciplinary research environment.
