Assistant Professor of Economics

The Department of Economics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions starting September 2025 from candidates in all fields.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. completed by September 2025.
• No knowledge of Spanish is required. The graduate program, all research activities, and most communication within the department are conducted in English. Teaching, including at the undergraduate level, can be performed in English.

Application Process:

• Deadline: November 8.
• Submit CV, recent research sample, and three recommendation letters.
• Indicate three faculty members in our department whose research aligns with yours.

Interviews:

• Online during the 2024 European job market in December, and shortly before the 2025 ASSA meeting in January.
