We are seeking an excellent academic to join our department as Assistant Professor in Economics.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of teaching and research, appropriate to career stage and will be expected to engage in scholarship of substance and generate high quality publications. They will be expected to build a strong research profile that supports the University’s research strategy, including affiliating to University Research Institutes. They will also be expected to make a strong contribution to teaching on the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as the supervision of Master’s and PhD students.

The Department has a particular interest in strengthening its teaching and research in the areas of Macroeconomics, International Trade, Environmental Economics or Health Economics, but welcomes applications in all fields of Economics.
