The Department of Economics at Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) invites applications for an assistant professorship (non-tenure track, 6 years fixed-term). The start date is flexible.

The position advertised is in applied microeconomics, particularly labor economics. We also invite applications from candidates doing applied work in related fields, such as public economics, urban economics or trade.

Applicants are expected to show outstanding commitment to research and must have obtained a PhD when taking up the position. The position carries a limited teaching load. Teaching can be in English.
