5-year Post-Doctoral Researcher

The Department of Economics (DSE) at the University of Bologna is currently accepting applications for a 5-year post-doctoral position, starting in the 2024/25 academic year. We are looking for candidates specialising in Environmental Economics, Behavioural Economics, Macroeconomics, or at the intersection between these fields.

The position offers a competitive compensation package, along with a research budget. Successful candidates will contribute to the BELIEFS project, supported by a grant by the European Research Council (ERC). The project studies transition-related expectations and their impact on low-carbon transition dynamics. Project activities include surveys of both firms and policy-makers, lab experiments, empirical work on climate policy credibility, and dynamic transition modelling.

No teaching is required. Knowledge of Italian language is not required and there are no restrictions regarding the nationality of the applicants.
