Life Outside Academia: The Central Bank Experience
Would you like to know more about work and research in a central bank? Join EJME Committee member Fadi Hassan (Banca d'Italia) and Clodomiro Ferreira (Banco de España) to learn more. Fadi and Clodomiro will walk you through any questions you may have about being a researcher in a central bank. Fadi, having moved from an assistant professorship to the Banca d'Italia, can also help you understand some differences between academia and central banks, while Clodomiro, who was hired at a central bank through the job market, will be able to give some tips on the interview process.

Join David Schindler on Thursday, November 21 @ 13:00 CET
As of this year, the European Job Market for Economists offers you the possibility to send up to 10 signals to recruiters. We understand that this new feature may be confusing and require more explanation.
Therefore, we invite candidates & recruiters to a short presentation with Q&A on Thursday, November 21 at 13:00 CET. David will explain the signalling mechanism to you, provide you with possible strategies to approach the choice of receivers and ask any of your questions.
